Join us for an inspirational morning meal as Michael Shemtov + the team at Workshop welcome Reem Assil of Reem’s California. Reem’s is more than just a bakery; Reem Assil seeks to build community across cultures, generations, and experiences through the warmth of Arab bread and hospitality. Reem’s California was born out of La Cocina, a Bay Area-based nonprofit working to solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color. Given its mission, the Workshop is excited for her to share her story + break bread. Take a seat at a table where everyone is welcome for this Middle Eastern breakfast.
