Reem’s is more than just a bakery; Reem Assil seeks to build community across cultures, generations, and experiences through the warmth of Arab bread and hospitality. Reem’s California was born out of La Cocina, a Bay Area-based nonprofit working to solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color.
