The past year has brought swift and unexpected change to the restaurant world, urging chefs, restaurateurs, and workers to explore new models for survival.

Will restaurants ever be the same? Do we want them to be?

Join Chef and Restaurateur Tunde Wey, President of One Fair Wage Saru Jayaraman, Chef and Owner of Reem’s California Reem Assil, and Mother Jones’ Maddie Oatman as they discuss how the pandemic has laid bare inequalities in the food industry and primed restaurants to serve as engines of social transformation.
